Now serving the film and television production industry in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside and Palm Springs, BG&L has grown to become the largest grip and lighting supply company south of L.A.

October 2, 2007 – Laguna Beach, Calif. – Orange County-based Burnie’s Grip & Lighting (BL&L) founder Craig “Burnie” Burns is proud to announce his company’s tremendous growth over the past 12 months. With the expansion of grip and lighting services, BG&L now offers a range of grip and lighting packages, including new vehicles, from commercial vans, 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-ton grip trucks and a 10-ton lighting truck.
            “Orange County production has taken a monumental step forward with the expansion of BG&L,” says Burns. “In addition to a 1-ton grip and lighting package, we now offer a 16-foot Isuzu box truck (2-ton package), a 20-foot Ford box truck (3-ton package), a 24-foot Mitsubishi truck (5-ton package) and a 26-foot International truck (10-ton package). All trucks are outfitted with grip and lighting gear, except the 10-ton, which is loaded with specialty packages for the largest productions.”
            Burns adds that having a full range of services and trucks for clients to choose from allows his company to accommodate any size production.
            “From a single head shot to a full-blown A-list feature film, we can handle the job,” explains Burns. “It’s one of the things that makes us unique in the market.”
            This fact is being recognized widely by production facilities in and around Orange County. Building on the company’s ever-growing recognition, BG&L has added some very impressive names to its client list in the past few months, including:
